This was Flame's first show in Sydney with David and having beat the other dogs in his class that consisted of 2 Champions (one of whom was an Import) we are very pleased with this, his first effort!

NIC DOES  IT AGAIN !!!

FCI Judge Mr Pedro Bispo (Portugal), Nic's Breeder Mrs Dianne Bradshaw, Rod and 'MBISS Ch Ozstock The I Tie' in their ' Best In Show Ribbon Shot'

Multi BISS Ch Ozstock The I Tie (Nic) has once again won BEST IN SHOW at Queensland Boxer Club's annual Specialty Show; for a second  consecutive year!!!

This year's show, held on the 7th June was judged by Boxer Specialist and FCI Judge Mr Pedro Bispo from Von Bispus Boxers in Portugal.

I am told that as soon as Nic was awarded a teary-eyed lady by the name of Dianne Bradshaw - aka Nic's breeder - came into the ring and an emotional congratulation was made! Thanks must go to Dianne and Dennis of Ozstock for making this such a wonderful and unforgettable experience for us all.

The rest of the show was then judged, with one of Dianne's many stunning boys (Of course Im not biased!) Ch Ozstock Sock It Toya went Reserve In Show and this year Nic's son Jetboom Bonfire Night (Flame) has taken BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW from a strong line-up of boys and girls!

The club held their Open Show immediately after the Champ, this year judged by Mrs Silvana Tassan of Phoenway Boxers (Qld). Mrs Tassan again awarded Flame BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW !!!

We are so proud of our boys and what they have achieved in their show career with us. We are honoured to have had the wins and experiences that they have brought.

Other Results from June

Flame has received a good Best Of Breed award from the Caboolture & Districts PA & I Assn (Qld) show held on the 6th under judge Miss D Norman (Qld).

Vixen has had a good Res BOB award under Mrs N Zimmerle (Qld) at the Stewards Assn Champs (WA) on the 22nd. There were 18 other boxers entered, BOB coming out of the Inter bitch class as well.

Ruski has another Best Of Breed award to his name, this one from the Gympie & Dists KC (Qld) under Ms C Redhead (SA) on the 29th. On the same day  Jetboom Dark N Stormy (Storm) had his first show and was awarded Baby Puppy Of Breed.

May

Flame and Vixen went to the Fremantle Dog Club Champs (WA) along with 21 other boxers under judge Mr K. Evans (Vic). Flame was awarded his class and then State Bred of Breed over the bitch. Vixen was given Res Bitch CC out of the Junior class, the BOB winning bitch coming out of Junior class as well!

Over in Queensland Jetboom Russian Roulette (Ruski) came home with a Best Of Breed win at Crow's Nest A.H & I Society Inc show under judge Mrs M. Hanly (NSW) held on the 10th. Well done Coop !

April

Coco has whelped her very first litter from BISS Aust Ch Jimbren Jet Setter (Imp UK) and has done a wonderful job. 8 beautiful brindle babies were born and are doing well. She is a natural mum who is very calm and easy going about the whole thing! Sorry but all these pups are spoken for !

Flame has come home with a win of State Bred of Breed for the Metropolitan KC Champ (WA) under Boxer judge Mrs H. Weil (Qld).

March

 Em has just returned from 2 weeks in Queensland visiting all our friends over there, in particular Maree, John, Lorraine and Coop. She took Flame with her and he was awarded a Challenge Dog and an Aust Bred In Group for his trouble. Show was the Goomeri Show Society Champ under judge Mrs J. Croad (Qld)

A great time was had catching up and seeing all the Boxers and their owners over there!

Jetboom After Shock (Mozzi) has done his owner Claire proud by winning his first Challenge Dog and Res BOB at the Camden Show (NSW) on the 8 March under Judge Mrs S Patterson (SA). Well done guys, hope to hear more soon!

Nic was awarded a Res Challenge at the Optimum Western Classic (WA) on the 3 March under Judge Snr Capistrano Neto (Brazil) with a total  entry of 28 boxers.

Haley has whelped her first litter of 5 very pretty brindle babies to Aust Ch Ozstock Sock It Toya. All are doing well and growing by the minute!

February 

Jetboom are pleased to announce that Nic is now 'Australian Champion Ozstock The I Tie'!

Nic was titled on Saturday the 16th after Specialist Judge Mr Miles Gunter of Guntop Boxers NSW gave him Best In Group at the Albany All Breeds Dog Club Champs (WA)! What a wonderful way to get his last few points. Flame went Res BOB / Res Dog CC under his dad and Vixen also got Res Bitch CC.

It was almost the same results the next day with Specialist Judge Mrs Liz Gunter awarding Nic Res In Group, Flame Res BOB / Res Dog CC and Vixen Res Bitch CC. All in all a wonderful weekend had by everyone.

Albany All Breeds Dog Club Champ Show

The above photos are from a show where a novelty event was held during the lunch break. Competitors were asked to bring anything but a dog into the ring to be judged. Here you see Carla from Gelderland Rottweilers 'stacking' Rod for our mystery judge. The whole event was a great laugh - especially the comments as to whether Rod was 'entire' or not! Lucky the judge wasnt game enough to check!

Mr Mark Johnston from Blueprint Boxers in NSW was here to judge the Hills Kennel Club's Champ Show (WA) on the 1st and 2nd of December. 'Jetboom Bonfire Night' was awarded1st in the State Bred class, beating some really good competition and 'Jetboom Northern Lights' got Puppy Of Breed. There were 24 Boxer entries for the show which was a really good turnout. Congratulations to 'Amorell Affinity' who got BOB and Res In Group.

November

'Jetboom Vixen at Heart' has come home with her first Best Of Breed award at the Metropolitan Kennel Club Inc Champ Show (WA)! Judge was local boxer breeder and exhibitor Ms Michelle Roberts from Taswest Boxers. Ms Roberts also gave Nic Challenge Dog / Res. BOB and both Coco and Flame Res Challenges.

'Jetboom Russian Roulette' (Ruski) is doing well in his showing; his latest results are Res. Challenge/ Puppy Of Breed and Puppy In Group at the Beaudesert Kennel Club (Qld) on the 11th under judge Mr D. Jones (R.S.A.)

He also went Res. Challenge / R/U BOB and Puppy In Group at the Maryborough Kennel Club Champ (Qld) on the 3rd under judge Mrs C. Roberts (NSW). Well done to Lorraine and Coop!

October

It was another 5 hour trip for the Geraldton & Districts Kennel Club Champ (WA) but was certainly worth it in the end to go! Nic was awarded Dog CC / BOB and Coco got Bitch CC. Flame who was Res. Challenge Dog then came in to receive the R/U BOB under his Dad after he had won his class of State Bred. Vixen took Res. Challenge Bitch / Puppy Of Breed with Blitz Opposite Puppy and to finish off the day Coco won Best Junior Of Group. The Judge was Mrs D. Patterson (SA).

'Jetboom Russian Roulette' (Ruski) recently came home with two Best Puppy of Breed awards from the Dog of the Year Support Shows in Qld on the weekend of the 6th and 7th. Judges were Mrs Tringham and Mrs T. McDonald.

September

The Boxer Club of WA held it's annual Champ Show on the 1st Sep. It was a beautiful spring day and this year was held out on the lawns. We had a wonderful day and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Our judge for this year was Mr Warren D. Hudson from the USA. He has been a boxer breeder for 40 years, he and his wife finishing more than 50 champions and has judged the breed for 16 years. His prefix is 'Warjoys'.

We came home very happy, having a hat-trick for the show! Coco did it again as she did last year, this time winning Best Junior In Show. Flame came home with Best Puppy In Show and Vixen was awarded Best Minor In Show. Little Blitz played second fiddle to his litter sister this time getting Opposite Minor In Show... Poor Nic didnt get much of a look in, only a placing in the Open Dog class!

June

From the 31st of May to the 18th June we were in Queensland competing in shows and staying with  friends, the Mahoney family of Jaksamlee Boxers. We took 7 dogs with us and had a wonderful time enjoying the experience.

The main reason for going over was the Queensland Boxer Club's Specialty Champ Show under Breed Specialist judge Mrs Maritha Ostlund - Holmsten of Teamwork Boxers, Sweden held on the 9th June. And what a day it was! Our star boy Nic, 'Ozstock The I Tie' was awarded  BEST  IN  SHOW !!!

Not to be forgotten of course are our babies, Flame 'Jetboom Bonfire Night' and Ruski 'Jetboom Russian Roulette' who were awarded a 2nd and a 3rd out of 7 respectively in the Baby Dog class. Vixen 'Jetboom Vixen at Heart' and Coco 'Sanlian Dreams Apoppin at Jetboom (Imp NZ)' also gained a 2nd in their classes of Baby Bitch and Junior Bitch.

Of course the other highlight of that day was the Open Show held immediately afterwards. Nic had another moment for us winning  BEST IN SHOW again under judge Mrs M. Hammond (N Qld) ! Coco did well winning Best Junior In Show and little Blitz 'Jetboom Northern Lights' and Vixen both won Best Baby Puppy and Opposite in Show.

Ruski 'Jetboom Russian Roulette' has stayed in Queensland with his new owner Lorraine Smitheringale from Juelle Boxers. Lorraine is a very well known boxer breeder and exhibitor and we hope Ruski does her proud.
